If you really want to learn more about this game i suggest you start visiting the wiki or reading around the forums.
You know eve has mainly 3 type of space: high sec, low sec and null sec.
You could try to learn a bit about the latter 2.
Or maybe you could stop poasting and simply gtfo forever? If you didnt notice nobody wants you here. You dont even play the game! |

Actually, my rant was originally inspired BY the forums, and the organized abuse by goonswarm
why would I want to go to low sec when it just means waking up in a clone within 5 minutes? if I wanted to keep buying the same ship over and over again there is a self-destruct option, I don't need to fly to 0.4 space for that
You're one of the most clueless person i've ever seen around here, i think you're not eve trolling!
I'll try to be helpful: dont do everything alone! Eve is (pay attention) a: massively-MULTIPLAYER PVP-oriented player driven game.
This mean to actually play the game as it was meant to be played you need to: work with others, to kill others, preferably in large numbers.
Of course you can play in any way you want, inside the rules, but that is what this game is about so stop whining to get it changed and adapt.
Or maybe try some other game.

Damn wait a minute.
I just read the title again: antisocial?
Null sec (the place you're most scared of) is one of the most safe places around, and you can get there ONLY by joining and helping a large group of people.
The only antisocial part of the game is high sec and people like you. |

The only activity that really takes more then one person after you wrack up some SP is PvP, WH space, and large plex sites. Most of the time when I am on (this is my alt btw, main is in apoc-legion) I am solo unless in a fleet.
Eve needs larger venues like incursions that force players to work together. It really is not a socially engaging game other then relaxing in corp/alliance TS.

It seems to me you dont get what the nature of eve is.
Eve pve should be improved, nobodies argue; eve however is pvp at its soul. |

unfortunately that would also mean that the person who got me into eve (who has been playing 2006 and has been showing me how to play) doesn't really understand the game either. He has been able to play solo for years and make more than enough isk to buy a plex each month and play for free. It's only in the last few months that solo play has gotten harder.
Oh you're really a newb.
Dont worry then.
I had to play for a year before "getting" what eve is about.
As i said you can play how you want, if that's the way he wanted to play and he has been doing it for 6 years then that's eve for him. But it seems you're not like him, you want to learn more and whine and have your opinion heard, that's not bad, just accept what we're telling you and try to look at things under this light.
Try to join a corp, you can choose between low sec pirates or fw, null sec npc space or sov, wormhole dwellers and mercenary corps.
And once you've joined get the cheapest ship you can fly, get on comms and go blow some **** up (you probably will die so remember your clone).
If, after having tried this, you still have problems then eve is not for you. |

If I could change my name I would. It was the name I picked for the trial account, and I figured it didn't matter that much so I just kept going with the same character. And the corp I'm in is only 2 people, because it means 0% taxes
The more I read from people who disagree me (once they got past the "i can has ur stuff?" stage) the more I realize I was wrong about what eve is.
My choices now are to either try to play it the way everyone else plays and just accept the PvP part, or leave and find a different game. I still have 3 weeks left on this month, so I'm joining a larger corp that has a WH base and I'm going to see where that leads.
Well in the end you came out as a reasonable person.
I'd say be careful with wh, it's pretty hard to adjust to that type of playstyle (at least it was for me). I think it's much easier to live in 0.0 (just my opinion though).
